Every Person Needs a Home

Since 2007, the Bay de Noc Home Run has raised thousands of dollars to solve or prevent homelessness in Delta County.  We kick off our summer by running together outside, so that others may live inside.

Please join us, rain or shine, for an enjoyable family fitness event - with food, prizes and much more.

Cash Prizes, USATF Sanctioned, Small Town Heart

We're a small town event, but big on features - with cash prizes, USATF sanction, great post race food, scenic Little Bay de Noc courses, chip timing, loads of medals divisions, team prizes, fundraising prizes, Kids Run and more. You won't find a race this size with more professionalism, and warmth.

iPods, Strollers, Wheelchairs and Pets

Cash prize competitors must observe USA Track & Field rules regarding competition as the Bay de Noc Home Run is now a USATF sanctioned event. Therefore, anyone wearing a portable electronic device with earphones, such as an iPod, will be disqualified from cash prize or record eligibility. Casual runners or walkers may use these devices.

We still permit pets and strollers. Walkers or casual runners may push a stroller or baby jogger, or may have a pet on a six foot leash. However, for the safety of other participants, strollers and pet owners must line up at the back of the start wave.

We do not yet have a wheelchair division. Push rim wheelchair riders are not eligible to compete for cash prizes and awards but wheelchair owners are welcome to register and wheel through the event as participants who will be aiding our cause to end homelessness in Delta County.

Skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles, handcycles or other wheeled devices are not allowed.

Thank you for your consideration, and for helping to make our event safe and fair.

To encourage local youth participation, we are now offering special local student team rates. These rates are available to Delta County secondary and primary students and only with paper (mail-in) registration form available here or at local high school and junior high school administration offices. Sorry, this offer is not available with online registration. Register by 5/2/14 for best discount.

Note: Please remember to include school team name on the registration form.
